Our Hopes

SLYC envisions a Mission Center in West Baltimore, grown from the foundation of the neighborhood’s current residents and community - building on the abundant assets that already exist in order to address the needs.

We believe that the key to this work is through the relationships of a community that crosses geographic, economic, religious, racial, and all other boundaries. It is a community that coordinates its efforts, shares its resources, and develops partnerships to meet its goals.
